I'm transitioning from being a hobbyist programmer to more serious work as I start college soon. I've mainly used VSCode and nano, but I'm looking for something lighter on resources because VSCode is a bit of a RAM hog for me. I need a code editor that looks nice and performs well without draining my memory. I've tried Lapce, which I liked for its speedy performance and aesthetics, but it still feels a bit incomplete. I'm currently considering Neovim with Nvchad, Lite XL, and Lapce. Given my situation, is it worth investing the time to learn Neovim? I've heard many developers eventually move to Vim or its variants anyway.

Absolutely! Learning Neovim is a great idea. Although I suggest checking out LazyVim instead of Nvchad; it might suit your needs better.
Does LazyVim have good themes? I've seen people saying only Nvchad has that feature. Is that true?
