I'm curious if it's actually achievable to learn something like programming or foreign languages without relying on AI tools. Can you really do it? What are some effective methods that don't involve AI?

Forget about AI for a moment; computer science has been around for ages! Most successful professionals have learned their trade without any AI. Trust in traditional methods: research, study real data, and engage with actual people.

You want to learn a second language or coding? Just practice! It's really about putting in the time and effort. Sure, there might be distractions like AI, but ignoring it and focusing on real-world applications is key.

Yeah, but how do you practice if you can't find resources that aren't AI-driven?

It's definitely possible to learn without AI. Try just shutting it down and finding resources that are based solely on fundamental principles. It's all about how much effort you're willing to put in!

Some people say it's impossible to learn these days without AI, but that's not true at all! Many of us learned to code and pick up skills long before AI became popular. If you want to learn, dive into some textbooks or online courses from before 2023 for pure, unfiltered content. AI can help, but it shouldn't replace the foundational learning process!

Totally agree! I learned Basic in '76 and picked up Java later on all before any of this AI stuff. If it’s coding you want to master, sometimes it’s best to go old school.
