I'm a total newbie to Linux and I don't have much coding experience yet, but I'm eager to learn. I'm really drawn to the customization options that Linux offers. My main concern is gaming—I mostly play modded Minecraft and Terraria, as well as some Steam games with friends. I'm wondering if there are any Linux distros that support tools like Curseforge or Modrinth for my games. Should I hold off switching until Linux becomes better for gaming, or is there already a distro that can handle what I need?

You definitely don't need to know how to code to use Linux! Minecraft works well (I'm using Labymod), and TModLoader on Steam is compatible too. You should be fine for most of your gaming needs with Linux.
Check out ProtonDB to see if your games work on Linux. It’s a great resource that helps you figure out compatibility.
Yeah, ProtonDB will give you a good idea. You can search your specific games there to see user reports on how they run.
