I've been having a frustrating experience with the Microsoft 2FA process in Firefox. When trying to log into the Entra admin portal, it takes about 20 seconds to get a response from csp.microsoft.com. After that, I wait another 35 seconds for the 2FA prompt on my phone, and then it takes an additional 10 seconds to load the page. In contrast, everything runs smoothly in Edge, taking a maximum of 5 seconds. This is really annoying since I have to authenticate 3 to 4 times daily. Is anyone else experiencing this sluggishness with Firefox on Microsoft admin sites? If it's Firefox causing the delay, I'll consider switching or investigating more, but if I'm alone in this, I'll dig deeper. Thanks for any help!

Honestly, if the process is that much smoother in Edge, why not just use that? Microsoft would surely appreciate more users on their default browser!
Have you tried using a different internet connection or another computer? It might be worth checking if you can replicate the issue elsewhere. I use Firefox too and it seems fine on my end. Maybe a browser extension is causing the slowdown? Checking the Firefox developer tools for network traffic might help identify what's happening.
I managed to fix my issue by refreshing Firefox. Just went to 'about: support' and clicked 'refresh'. I’ll reinstall my plugins one by one to see if there’s a culprit. Appreciate the help, and I’ll share if I find which plugin was causing the issue.
Thanks for the suggestions! I just tested on my home network and it's working perfectly—no delays like before. You were right; it doesn’t seem slower than Edge. But I did notice some weird traffic in the logs which points to my original problem.
I’d love to use Edge, but unfortunately, my workplace restricts browsers, and Edge is the only one that isn’t blocked. So I have to find a way to make it work in Firefox!
