I recently upgraded my PC with an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB paired with a Ryzen 5 5600 and 16GB of RAM. I'm currently running on Full HD and everything runs smoothly, but I'm considering moving to 1440p. I'm curious if this setup can handle AAA games at that resolution. Has anyone experienced this transition? Is the jump to 1440p noticeable, especially for story-driven games? Any feedback would be appreciated!

Your build should handle 1440p decently well, though don't expect extremely high FPS. It might be worthwhile for the types of games you're playing. What’s your current monitor’s resolution? Have you checked out gaming benchmarks on YouTube for the 5600 and 5060 Ti?
I have a similar setup with a 5060 Ti and a 1440p ultrawide monitor. I usually max out settings and get over 100 FPS, but I mostly play non-AAA titles. For AAA games, I typically run them on low settings with DLSS for better performance.
Just give it a shot! Switch to 1440p and see how your PC handles it. I have a similar card and can easily manage multiple 1440p displays with no issues.
With your setup, you should be good for 1440p. Just make sure to enable faster RAM speeds in your BIOS, and you might want to try optimizing Windows to get the best performance.
Definitely go for 1440p! If you encounter any performance issues, you can always enable DLSS on supported games to enhance visuals without losing too much performance.
