I'm considering building a PC instead of sticking with my laptop, and I really want to know if the parts I've chosen are good for a $1500 build. I'm only 14, so every penny counts! I plan to game a bit, but I also need it for CAD design. Is this setup suitable for my first build? Here's the list I put together: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3bNNHW

You should definitely check the link in your post because it wasn't included initially! But once you do, I'd suggest spending a little extra on the Corsair RM750x. It comes with better components and a longer warranty, which is always a good investment.

It’s kind of strange to go with a 1080p monitor for that build. For the money, I'd recommend considering a 1440p monitor. It would really complement your setup and give you better visuals for both gaming and CAD work!

Gotcha! Do you have any specific monitor recommendations? I'm trying to keep the total close to $1500.
