Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build and have put together a setup with a budget of $3000. I got some input from a friend who thought it looked solid, but I wanted to check with you all to make sure I didn't overlook anything. I'm aiming for a system that can handle any game at high quality. Here's the part list I created: [PC Part Picker Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xJ4NJn). Any suggestions or improvements would be appreciated!

I’ve got a few thoughts! The RAM you've chosen might be more than you need right now, but consider slowing it down to 6000CL30. It will still work well, and when you upgrade your CPU in the future, you can crank it back up. Also, I’d swap in a top-notch SSD and a stronger PSU to match your budget. I get that he's new to building, but suggesting pricey RAM that requires underclocking might be overkill!

I recommend upgrading to a 1000W power supply. While 850W is the minimum for what you're building, going up a notch will give you extra room for overclocking without any issues.

Check this out for a few upgrades: a higher-tier power supply and a motherboard with better VRMs. Those features can greatly enhance performance. Here’s a link to my recommendations: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9VvZnp).

Your build looks awesome! There are definitely some areas where you could save a bit of cash, but overall, you've chosen quality components that should perform well.
