I'm planning to upgrade my CPU and want to know if my current 80+ Bronze 650W PSU can handle a 3070 Ti along with a 5700X3D. Are there any concerns I should be aware of, or would it be advisable to upgrade?

I had a similar setup with a 3070 and a Ryzen 5 7600, which draws less power than yours. Even with all my components running, I never saw more than 450W being used. It seems like your 650W PSU should be sufficient unless you're overclocking or adding lots of peripherals.

Yes, you should be fine! The 3070 Ti typically uses around 300W and the 5700X3D around 100W. When you factor in other parts like the motherboard, RAM, and storage, you're still well within your 650W limit, maybe using about two-thirds at most. Just make sure your PSU is in good shape; if it’s older or multi-rail, you might want to keep an eye on the amperage. But overall, I doubt you’ll hit the ceiling with your setup.

Can you share the exact model of your PSU? That helps in making a better assessment.
