Hey folks! I just finished building my new PC and wanted to make sure my power supply unit (PSU) is sufficient for my setup. Here are the specs:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **Cooler:** ARCTIC Freezer 36 Black
- **GPU:** NVIDIA RTX 3080
- **Motherboard:** GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE
- **RAM:** Kingston FURY 32GB KIT DDR5-5600 CL36 Beast Black
- **Storage:** XPG GAMMIX S5 NVMe SSD + Seagate ST1000DM003 1TB HDD
- **PSU:** Corsair RM750x (750W, 80+ Gold)
Do you think the RM750x is enough for this build?

It never hurts to consult tools available on PCPartPicker or Newegg to assess your build's power needs.
You might want to use websites like PCPartPicker to estimate the wattage your system will draw at load. I have similar components and use an 850W supply, which gives me plenty of headroom, especially with peaks from the 3080.
Keep in mind, if you're using a new RTX 3080, it's worth noting that its performance is significantly better compared to some alternatives. Just ensure that the cooler you have, the ARCTIC Freezer 36, is adequate—it's a little small but will still work as long as you're okay with some noise. And make sure to use individual PCIe cables for the GPU.
NEW 3080, already bought :/ If it will work fine, then that's good for me, thank u!
The 3080 really shines at 1440p, so you'll definitely notice the difference!
You're totally fine with the RM750x! That should handle your build without any issues.
Thank u!
Definitly gonna check it out, thank u!
