I have a RX 7900XTX paired with a Ryzen 7 7700X, which is my first PC build. I'm curious if this combo is solid for gaming or if I should consider upgrading my CPU to get the most out of my GPU. I primarily game, with occasional sports viewing on a second monitor. Any advice or recommendations on whether I should upgrade my CPU and, if so, what model would be best? Thanks!

If you're content with your current performance, just stick with what you have for a while. Upgrading is only worth it if your games aren't running smoothly or you want to play at higher settings.
Just play what you like and enjoy your setup! Don't get caught up in the upgrade cycle—it's easy to fall into that trap.
Honestly, if it were me, I’d wait until 2027 when AMD plans to release more powerful CPUs for the AM5 socket. Then you'll have better options for an upgrade if you really feel the need.
I wouldn't rush into upgrading. Your 7700X is already a pretty strong CPU and should handle most games just fine. Plus, it really depends on your gaming resolution and settings. For many scenarios, you’re fine as is!
Exactly! As long as your games play well enough for you, there's no real need to change anything right now. Just enjoy it!
Or if you find a great deal on a new CPU later on! But for now, sounds like you’re good!
