Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to PC building and want to get some clarity on my setup. I've just built a PC with a 5090 GPU and a 9950x3d CPU, and I mostly play Marvel Rivals at 1080p on low settings. During gameplay, my CPU utilization hovers around 19-25%, and it gets as hot as 70 degrees Celsius during the game's performance test. I've noticed that while my CPU temp stays below 67 degrees during casual play, I'm concerned about the fact that I'm running low utilization but still hitting those temperatures. Is this temperature normal, or should I be worried? If it's not okay, what steps can I take to fix it? Thanks for the help!

Honestly, you're just overthinking it! Your CPU is doing fine given that Marvel Rivals is more GPU-bound. The temps you're seeing, including hitting 70°C, are perfectly acceptable for your setup. CPU temps can safely go up to about 90°C before you should really worry. It's normal for a powerful CPU like yours to not hit 100% utilization, especially at 1080p. Just enjoy your games without stressing over it!
That's a relief to hear! Just to clarify, is there a specific temp I should look out for that would indicate an issue?
