Is My CPU Temperature Too High While Playing Battlefield 6?

Hey everyone! I'm new to this, but I've got some concerns about my CPU temperature. Lately, while playing Battlefield 6, my CPU has been running between 67-70°C, and today it even hit 75°C. My GPU is handling most of the load, staying around 65-70°C. I live in Georgia, and while it was warmer outside today, my room AC is set to 69°F and it still peaked at 75°C. Does anyone know why this might be happening? For the specs, I'm using a 9070XT, Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, 32GB DDR5 Teamgroup RAM, and a 1000w PSU.

Ryzen AM5 CPUs can handle temperatures up to 95°C before throttling. So, hitting 75°C isn’t something to stress about. If the fan noise is bothering you, you could try adjusting the fan speeds in your BIOS.

That sounds pretty standard to me. My 7800X3D sits in the low 70s with the Phantom Spirit Evo 120 SE cooler. If you’re worried about those temperatures, consider applying a negative offset with the curve optimizer. Just keep an eye on performance, since it might cool down but not boost as high, which could affect gameplay.

Just throwing it out there, but I’ve noticed the game feels more balanced lately, and my PC has been running a bit warmer too. Maybe they’ve adjusted something on their end? Would be interesting to know if that might be affecting temps.

75°C is well within a safe range for your CPU. Those are not excessive temperatures at all. The 9800X3D is designed to run warm, at 120W. Maybe improving your airflow might help a bit, but you're definitely fine.
