I'm trying to figure out if my current CPU might bottleneck my 5060 Ti graphics card. Upgrading the CPU would require me to also get a new power supply and, if I want to upgrade beyond the 12th generation, a new motherboard too. This could end up being almost a full new build! I'm considering this because if in a couple of years my CPU bottlenecks the 5060 Ti, it might make more sense to just invest in a new motherboard, CPU, and power supply. If it doesn't bottleneck, I'll just go ahead and build a completely new PC and sell my current one. Here are my specs: 5060 Ti 16GB, i5 12400 (non-F model), 16GB RAM at 4400 (max on motherboard), Lenovo motherboard, and a 500W PSU.

Your i5 12400 should work perfectly with the 5060 Ti, especially at 1080p and even at 1440p.
So I don't need to worry about upgrading my motherboard, power supply, and CPU right now?
