Hey everyone! I've put together a PC build with a budget of €2500, and I'm looking for some feedback. I'm particularly curious if my power supply (PSU) has enough headroom, or if I should upgrade to a 1000W model. Here's my build along with the prices:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor - €463.86
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM - €43.89
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7 ATX AM5 - €219.87
- **Memory**: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 - €262.99
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X2 NVME - €129.00
- **Video Card**: Zotac GAMING SOLID CORE OC GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB - €1146.99
- **Case**: Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower - €124.90
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850e 850 W Fully Modular - €116.38
**Total**: €2507.88
I really appreciate any input you have!

The parts look solid! I’d suggest considering dropping to DDR5-6000 CL30 instead of 6400, which could save you a few bucks without any noticeable performance loss. Just something to think about!

Thanks for the suggestions! Why did you change the case? Have you used both?
The Lian Li is just lighter and has better airflow in my experience.
Are you going for a gaming only build, or do you plan to do content creation or editing too? It could change your requirements a bit.
I'm mainly focused on gaming!
Just a tip—Do you prefer the X870 for extra ports and WiFi? A B650-E might be enough for what you're building, and it could save you some cash!
I think I’ll stick with the X870 for now.
Sounds good! Just making sure you get what you need.
You're right, I went ahead and made that change!
