I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC and would love some feedback on my specs. I'm aiming to play at 1440p on a 200Hz monitor and my games of choice are Arc Raiders, Elden Ring, The Finals, and Minecraft. Here are my parts:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 3.4 GHz 8-Core AM4
- **GPU**: Sapphire Radeon RX 9060 XT PULSE 16GB GDDR6 Black
- **Motherboard**: MSI B550 A PRO AM4 DDR4 ATX
- **Case**: Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower Black Tempered Glass
- **RAM**: TeamGroup T-Force DELTA RGB DDR4 16GB(2x8GB) 3000MHz CL16
- **SSD**: Western Digital WD Blue SN5000 1TB SSD M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVMe
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850W Fully Modular 80+ Gold Certified
I'm also concerned about whether 16GB of RAM will be sufficient and if I should have gone for a DDR5 motherboard instead! What do you think?

I'd say 16GB is really the minimum these days, especially for gaming. And with current RAM prices, I'd avoid DDR4 if possible. The AM4 platform might not hold up as well in the future since DDR6 isn't out yet, but AM5 will last a bit longer for upgrades.
It's tough to say if it's worth it without knowing the price, but overall, this is a solid build for an older platform. It may limit future upgrades, but it sounds like it's much cheaper compared to current-gen DDR5 options that are available now.

Yeah, I've seen builds around that price range, too. It should be about €1250, right?
