I'm assembling my first gaming PC and I've picked out my components, but I want to confirm if everything is compatible. Here's what I've chosen:
- **Graphics Card**: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 8Gb Windforce OC - $310
- **CPU**: Intel Core i5 13400F - $106
- **Cooler**: iD Cooling SE-224-XTS ARGB - $22
- **Motherboard**: MSi Pro b760-P - $111
- **Memory**: Netac Shadow II DDR4 (2x16Gb) - $50
- **Case**: ZALMAN Z10 Black - $77
- **Storage**: 1TB ADATA Legend 900 - $69
- **Power Supply**: 650W Chieftec BDF650C - $80
The total cost is around $870. I've checked the fit, and everything seems good, but being a first-time builder, I'd love to get some expert opinions on whether this setup works well for gaming, streaming, and light video editing on a budget of about $800-850.

You might want to check out PCPartPicker; it helps verify compatibility and shows if any parts have issues. But from what you've listed, it seems all your components should work together. Just double-check your CPU cooler's fit in the case!
Are you in the US? I could suggest a slightly better build for not much more money. You could upgrade your CPU and maybe your cooler for a better setup overall, especially for gaming and streaming.
I'm not in the US, and it looks like the GPU alone is around $428 here, which complicates things.
Your build is decent for a beginner, but I’d reconsider the GPU choice if gaming performance is your goal. Also, you might be better off with an AM5 build boasting newer tech for a similar budget, depending on what you're looking to achieve.
Thanks for the tip! I definitely want something that will last, especially for gaming and light video editing.
That’s a good idea! I used it too, and it marked everything green for mine. Just to be extra sure, always check clearance for cooler height in your case.
