I'm putting together my first PC and would appreciate feedback on whether the parts in my build are compatible and sensibly balanced. I bought the graphics card in January last year for about $570, before prices increased, but it has been sitting unused while I saved up for the rest of the system. I've now purchased two sets of intake fans and am ready to finish the build. I chose the GPU quickly because it was the most expensive component, so I'd also like to know whether it was a good choice. I'm mainly interested in personal use and lighter games, with possible video editing or streaming in the future rather than demanding gaming. I'd especially appreciate advice on whether the extra cost of the white components and additional fans is justified.

The build should be reasonable if you like the white aesthetic, but there may be opportunities to reduce the total cost without meaningfully changing performance. The extra fans and white components are mostly about appearance and personal preference rather than speed, so they’re fine as long as you’re comfortable paying the premium.
I do prefer the white look because it makes the system feel more open instead of looking like a black void. It should also be easier to change the appearance later if I update my office decor.
