Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building my first PC and have put together a component list that I'm really proud of. I would love your feedback to ensure I haven't missed anything important. Here's what I've chosen so far: CPU is a Ryzen 7 9800x3D, Cooler is a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120SE, the Motherboard is a Gigabyte B850, RAM is Crucial Pro Overclocking with 32GB, SSD is a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, GPU is an RTX5070 Ti, and the Case is a Fractal Design North (with the possibility of upgrading to the XL model). I'm also looking at an MSI Mag A850GL for the power supply. Since I'm a complete newbie, I really appreciate any advice or suggestions! Also, I didn't mention the GPU details thinking they might not be crucial, but I can provide them if needed.

That sounds like an awesome build! I’m also building my first PC and have chosen the same CPU and case, so I'm definitely following along to see what responses you get! Keep us updated!

This is a fantastic build! Pretty similar to what I'm going for too! You’ve got great taste in components.

Quick question: What are you mainly going to use your PC for? I feel like the 9800x3D might be a bit overkill if you're mostly gaming. You could save some cash on the CPU and upgrade your GPU to a 5080 instead. Just a thought!

Good point! I'm planning to do some work on it as well, so maybe the 9800x3D is a good fit after all.
