Hey everyone! I just built my first PC about a month ago and could really use some help. I spent around $1650 and here's what I've got:
- **GPU**: GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- **RAM**: 32GB DDR4 3200 Mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX
- **Motherboard**: ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFi II PCIe 4.0
- **PSU**: 750W
- **Case**: Corsair 3500X ARGB ATX
- **Monitor**: Alienware 27-inch QHD 180Hz 1ms Display, IPS, NVIDIA G-SYNC QHD Wide 1440p
- **Storage**: WD_BLACK 2TB SN7100 NVMe Gen4 PCIe
- **Cooler**: ARCTIC Freezer 36 - Single-Tower CPU Cooler
I'm wondering if there are any bottlenecks in my build and what might hold me back the most in the future. Also, I heard something about potential future-proofing issues since I went with AM4 instead of AM5 for the motherboard. Any insights would be super helpful!

I'd say the main concern with your build is the AM4 platform. It's considered a dead end right now, which means you won't be able to upgrade your CPU unless you change the motherboard and RAM. If I were you, I would have gone for a B650 motherboard and a Ryzen 7000 series CPU for better upgradability down the line.
Honestly, you splurged on a great GPU, but pairing it with an AM4 CPU and DDR4 RAM is iffy. Also, what's the resolution of your monitor? That could impact performance big time.
It's 1440p.
