Hey everyone! I'm venturing into building my first PC and I'm seeking some advice. My main goal is to build a rig that can handle 2K gaming at 120 FPS. I play on a 165Hz gaming monitor and a 120Hz Samsung TV. I've heard plenty of tips from friends, but I want to ensure my setup is solid for the next few years. My budget is around 2400€ and here's the link to my build: [https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/36824p](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/36824p). Any suggestions or improvements would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

It looks pretty good overall! I'm gaming at 2K with a Ryzen 5900x and a 3090, and while I don't usually hit 120 FPS on Ultra settings in games like Hogwarts Legacy, my FPS is stable despite the game’s poor optimization. So, you should be fine!
I made some tweaks to your build to optimize price and performance. Swapped for a cheaper motherboard that’s nearly identical in specs, a faster SSD, and a less expensive power supply. Here’s my revised list: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/XM6bxg).
Looks solid! I’d recommend dropping down to 32GB of RAM instead of 64GB. The cost difference isn’t massive, but it's worth thinking about. If you're open to spending a bit more, you could consider the RTX 5070 Ti for a performance boost.
Definitely leanin' towards less RAM. Thanks!
You're definitely going a bit overboard with 64GB of RAM; that’s more than you really need for gaming right now. You could save some cash by opting for less. Also, for high-tier NVMe storage, check out the SN850X—it’s excellent!
Thanks for the heads-up on the RAM!
Good point! Can I fit three 1TB SN850X drives in this build, or is that a bad idea?
Awesome, thanks for that!
