Is My First PC Build List Solid?

I'm gearing up to order parts for my first PC build and feel pretty good about the specs I've picked out. I'm not experienced with PC building, so I'd love some feedback on my components. I'm particularly unsure about the motherboard requirements—maybe I've chosen a more advanced one than necessary.

If you noticed anything in my build that could be replaced with cheaper alternatives or if there's a potential bottleneck I should address, please share your thoughts. I'm pretty confident about the RAM and storage since I've already got the RAM. My main priority is making sure all the parts work well together and that I'm getting the best bang for my buck before I make any purchases.

Your parts list looks great! The only thing I noticed is that your power supply might be overkill for this setup. I recommend checking out the Rosewill VSB series— you can find a 750W unit for about $60 on Amazon. It offers plenty of power for your needs and leaves room for future upgrades, which is a good value for the price.

Thanks for the tip! I've been wondering if I should downsize the PSU since it feels a bit excessive.

Appreciate the advice! I’ll consider that for sure.

Just a heads up, the P3 Plus drive uses QLC flash, which isn’t as durable and slows down over time. I'd suggest upgrading to a drive with TLC flash, like the Patriot P400 Lite or the Samsung 990 EVO Plus—these are more reliable long-term.

That's super helpful advice! I definitely want a quality drive, so I’ll take your recommendation into account.

Yeah, investing in good storage pays off down the line!

I found some RAM that’s about $100 cheaper than what you’re looking at. Check out the Klevv Fit V 32GB kit on PCPartPicker—it’s a solid deal!

Thanks, but I already bought my RAM before the prices climbed, so I’m safe there.

Good call! It’s crazy how much RAM prices have shot up recently.
