Is My First PC Build on the Right Track?

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to building PCs and need your advice. I've been using an Acer Nitro V5 laptop for a while now, but it's becoming quite slow and noisy for the games I want to play, like Marvel Rivals and Fortnite. I'm excited to build a real gaming PC! I'm working with a $2500 budget and I've come up with a parts list, but I can't find some of the components I originally wanted, like the Ryzen 5 7600. Here's what I've got planned:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ICE ATX AM5
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 1 TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card**: Sapphire PURE Radeon RX 7700 XT 12 GB
- **Case**: NZXT H9 Flow
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM750e 750 W Fully Modular
- **Operating System**: Windows 11 Home
- **Monitor**: Samsung Odyssey G55C 32" 1440p 165 Hz

I also plan on getting a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 cooler. I'd love your feedback on whether these parts will work well together or if you have suggestions for improvements before I purchase everything. Thanks a lot for your advice!

Consider the option of buying a pre-built system instead. There are often deals worth exploring, especially around back-to-school times. It could save you a lot of hassle with shipping all the parts separately. Sure, you want the fun of building, but sometimes going pre-built can be more practical, especially out in the boonies like you are.

I was leaning towards pre-built but had issues with sellers. I think I can manage building one myself. Thanks for the suggestion!

I think you're spending too much on your motherboard. Stick between $130-$160 USD to save some cash, as high-end features may not be necessary for you. Also, the RAM you're looking at is a bit pricier—check out other brands that offer similar performance without the 'Corsair tax'. You might want to go for a newer GPU like the RX 9060 XT for better performance.

Thanks for your tips! I’ll definitely look for a more budget-friendly motherboard and GPU option.
