I got my PC back from a repair service and noticed that the GPU power cable is plugged in pretty awkwardly. I'm wondering if I should try to reroute the cable to improve the situation. As an electronics tech, I'd say it's mostly okay, but there’s a bit of stress on the upper right pin that isn’t ideal. Ideally, you should avoid bending the 12VHPWR cable too much—it can lead to issues down the line. I wouldn’t want to go back to a repair shop that doesn’t pay attention to cable management; it only takes a few minutes, and if they cut corners here, they might be doing it elsewhere too. You should reroute the cable for a straighter path, either straight up or down, with a wide bend where possible. For reference, here’s how I manage my GPU cables [link](https://imgur.com/a/JmPOetz).
Here’s my attempt at redoing it with the short cable. Check it out: [pic1](https://postimg.cc/TLvYwyrh) [pic2](https://postimg.cc/svHjWHYj) but I tried to get a clearer pic of the bend too: [pic3](https://postimg.cc/Y4ksCMhy).
It looks like it should work fine, but that cable placement is a bit sketchy. I’d recommend reseating it just to be safe.

I think I can only bend it upwards, going down has space issues with the USB3 cable and my bulky GPU.
