Is My GPU Hotspot Temp Normal?

Hey everyone! I've been gaming a lot lately, and I noticed that my GPU hotspot temperature is going up to about 97-99°C, occasionally spiking to 103°C for just a second during heavy loads. My normal GPU temp sits around 75°C. Is this something I should be worried about? I have a 6700 XT and a mATX case, which isn't the best for airflow. I don't think I've experienced any throttling yet, but I'm unsure if that would happen with the hotspot temp. I've been using the default Adrenaline fan curve but tried a custom curve someone suggested. While the custom settings do keep my GPU average at about 65°C and the hotspot at around 85°C, the fans get pretty loud, hitting close to 3000 RPM. So, should I stick with the default curve, or is it better to put up with the noise for lower temperatures? Also, I have two intake fans at the front and one exhaust fan at the back. Any suggestions?

Having a hotspot around 95°C is pretty normal for a 6700 XT, especially if it's the Sapphire Pulse, which isn't the best in terms of cooling. AMD considers 105°C the max before throttling kicks in. If the average temps look good, you're likely in the clear!

Good to know! Thanks for clarifying that. My Sapphire Pulse is also showing similar readings.
