I have a Ryzen 5800X processor and an RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, but I'm not seeing the performance in games that I expected. It seems like my processor isn't keeping up. At 1080p, the CPU works harder than the GPU, yet my frame rates are the same at 1440p where they both have similar loads, but my GPU barely hits 70% utilization. When I switch to 4K, I still get the same FPS, but my GPU maxes out at 100%. Is there a way to tweak my system to improve performance at 1080p and 1440p? I've already set everything to maximum performance and disabled power-saving settings, but nothing seems to be working.

It sounds like you're experiencing a processor bottleneck at both 1080p and 1440p. If you want more frames at those resolutions, consider upgrading your CPU. The good news is that at 4K, it seems you're not facing that issue. So it's really about deciding whether you want to upgrade for better performance at lower resolutions or if you're okay playing at 4K without an upgrade.
Have you installed the Adrenaline package from AMD? Your 5800X has a decent amount of overclocking potential if you're up for it. Just make sure your motherboard isn't a -20 model, as that could limit your options. It should help you get more out of your current setup.

How can I check if my motherboard is a -20 model? My CPU is running at 4500 MHz, which is close to AMD's stated limit of 4.7 GHz. I'm using the MSI MPG x570 Gaming Plus motherboard.
