Is my i7-10700 good enough with a new RTX 5070Ti or should I upgrade my CPU?

I'm excited because my new RTX 5070Ti and an 850W PSU arrive tomorrow! I'm using it with my current i7-10700 CPU and 32GB of RAM. I'm a bit concerned about potential bottlenecking, especially since RAM prices are quite high right now. Should I upgrade my CPU right away, or can I make do for now?

Consider a 14600K or 5800XT for your build. You can reuse your current RAM with those!

Are those the best options for an AM4 setup?

You're set for 1440p gaming at least, with minimal risk of bottlenecking. The i7-10700 should handle the 5070Ti pretty well!

I've heard performance can vary by game, but it should definitely be better than your previous 2080 Super!

I just got a 5070 Ti too, and I have a 4K monitor. I'm looking for CPU recommendations since I have a Ryzen 3700X. Any thoughts?

A Ryzen 5700X or 5800X would be perfect for your needs!

If you're thinking long-term, go with an AM5 setup. It's got support until 2028, so you'll have plenty of upgrade options!

You can definitely stick with your setup until you can afford a CPU or RAM upgrade. Just keep an eye on those prices!

Right? I'm worried RAM costs might keep climbing too!
