I've noticed that my i7 14700K is spiking to 100°C while I'm gaming with my 4070s. Should I consider undervolting it, or would it be better to reduce the graphics settings? I've heard that it throttles at higher temperatures, so I'm not too worried about damaging the CPU. For cooling, I'm currently using an Endorfy Fera 5, but I can't upgrade to a better cooler right now.

The Fera 5 is pretty underwhelming for something like the 14700K. You might want to look into a dual tower cooler like the Phantom Spirit 120 SE if you can. But no, running at high temps won't immediately kill your CPU. Just make sure your BIOS is up to date—older versions can cause issues for these newer Intel chips. If you're looking for a quick fix, undervolting might actually help with performance despite the cooling limitations.
I’ve got the Phantom Spirit 120 SE with my 14600KF, and it keeps the temps around 85°C even under stress!
