I've been having a frustrating issue with my iPhone 12 keyboard. The 'q' and '1' keys just won't work, even after I took off my screen guard. I've tried updating the software and resetting my phone, but the problem persists. Sometimes the keys work for a bit, but then they stop again. I really need some help figuring out if this is a hardware problem or something software-related.

You might want to try rotating your phone to landscape mode and see if the keyboard behaves differently. If it works fine in landscape, there's a chance it could be a multi-touch failure on your screen. But if it doesn't work in both orientations, then it might be a software issue.
So I tried it in landscape and the keys actually work! Does that mean it's definitely a hardware issue? Do I need to think about getting a screen replacement?
