I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max that I bought in September 2024. A few months later, I unfortunately cracked the back glass while working in my tile bathroom, but everything was fine until I updated to the public beta of iOS 26. Since then, my phone has been overheating, which causes the cellular service to drop, even when it shows a strong signal like "5G+." I rely on my phone for work outdoors, and this issue has been super frustrating. Additionally, the front camera has been acting up—sometimes it won't turn on and freezes the camera app. I suspect I might be dealing with a bad motherboard. I wonder if I'm right and if Apple will still fix it given that I have a cracked back glass and used beta software (which I'll repair myself).

You should definitely visit Apple for a diagnosis. Just a heads-up, they might not take a look at your phone since it was running beta software. But since you're off the beta, it might change things a bit.
Honestly, using beta software on a device you rely on for work wasn’t the best move. It might be a good idea to update to the latest stable release, especially since iOS 26 is running solid for a lot of users like me on older models.
I’ve switched back to non-beta but I’m still facing these problems.
Having AppleCare can really save you in situations like this. But it doesn't necessarily mean your logic board is failing; it’s worth letting Apple check it out for you.

Yeah, I’m not on beta anymore. Guess that could help my case.
