I'm planning to build my first gaming PC and I'm looking for some advice! My main uses will be gaming (specifically modded Minecraft, RDR2, and Apex Legends), studying, and digital drawing. I want to ensure I can keep multiple tabs open without significant slowdowns. I'm working with a budget of £900 to £1200 in the UK and I aim to collect parts over the next year with the goal of building it as a Christmas present. I've put some components together on a PC part picker website, but I'd love to hear your thoughts about my selection and any recommendations you might have!

Just a heads up, the build you've got there is quite a bit over your budget. It looks like you're putting a lot of cash into how it looks rather than performance. Honestly, it's not the best idea to buy parts over time; it’s better to save up and buy everything at once when you're ready to build. That way, you can put together a well-planned list and get feedback.
You might find some parts where you can save a bit of money! It really depends on what you're looking at specifically, though.
Thanks for the tip! Are there any specific parts you think I should look into, or are there just cheaper options overall?

Thanks for the reality check, haha! I’ll definitely take that into account. I wanted a cool case, which is why I splurged a bit there. Do you have suggestions for parts that offer better value?
