Is My KDV21 5G Internet Box Salvageable After Getting Wet?

So, my KDV21 5G internet box got a tiny bit of water in it overnight due to a leak. It wasn't soaked or waterlogged— just a smear of water on the side. I've opened it up as much as I could to let it dry out. I set it in front of a small blower heater on low heat, about 6 inches away, to help air circulate inside. However, it won't power on at all, and I'm really worried. It probably had water in it for about 6 hours before it turned off, and I thought I just unplugged it accidentally. What should I do? Am I likely to have damaged it for good?

Once you've dried it out with the heater, I’d wait at least 1-2 hours before trying to power it back on. It’s tough to say how wet it really is, but give it some time to dry. Better safe than sorry!

If it’s not turning on, you might be in trouble. Even a little bit of water can mess things up if it gets in the wrong spot and shorts something. But don't lose hope just yet!
