Is My LGA 1700 PC Build a Good Choice?

Hey there! I'm building a PC for the first time in a while, and I need your thoughts on my component choices. I'm in Bolivia, where it's a bit tricky and costly to get parts, so I'm hoping I made smart decisions. Here's what I've got:

- **Processor:** Intel® Core™ i7-12700KF
- **Motherboard:** ASUS PRIME B760M-A AX
- **RAM:** Kingston 4800 2x16Gb DDR5 (4800 is max for this CPU, right?)
- **Graphics Card:** RTX 3070
- **SSD:** 1Tb Samsung 870 EVO (MZ-77E1T0BW)
- **PSU:** 650W (not sure which brand yet, is that sufficient?)

Should I be using a basic cooler for the CPU? Do you think everything here will work together? Thanks a bunch!

Honestly, I think you might want to rethink your build. The LGA 1700 platform is kind of outdated now, especially the 12th gen processors like the i7-12700KF. The RAM speed is a bit slow for future-proofing, and if the RTX 3070 is used, keep in mind it could have hidden issues. Plus, the motherboard you chose is on the weaker side, which could limit future upgrades to something like the i7-14700K. Have you considered switching over to an AM5 platform? The Ryzen 7500F or 7600 could fit your budget better!

And about RAM, instead of sticking to 4800MHz, you might want to go for 6000MHz CL30. It's not that much more expensive and it’ll perform much better for upgrades down the line. Modern CPUs handle up to 5600MHz, and overclocking can give you some leeway too!

I did already purchase the 12700KF, so I'm kind of locked in there. The RTX 3070 is actually new, not used. The motherboard is tricky to choose; I was also offered an MSI PRO B760M-P, but I feel like the Asus is a better option. What do you think?
