Is my new GPU compatible with my motherboard?

I'm upgrading my GPU from a 1660 Ti to a 5060 Ti, but I'm running into some confusion. I have a MAG X570 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard. I noticed that the PCI slot for the 5060 Ti is significantly shorter than the one I used for the 1660 Ti, and I'm not seeing any other slots on the motherboard that it could fit into. Did I make a mistake in my purchase?

Actually, if you're noticing a huge difference in length, it might not be installing correctly. Some manufacturers do design their cards differently, which can result in a shorter connector. Just double-check the slot type; it should definitely be x16 for the 5060 Ti.

That's what I thought! I just wasn't expecting the difference in size when I ordered it.

You should be good to go! Just pop the 5060 Ti into the x16 PCIe slot, and it should fit fine. Don't worry about the length; it’s normal to see some variations.
