I'm working on building a new gaming PC and I'm trying to strike a balance between performance and cost. I'm considering switching from a 5090 to a 5080 to save money, but I'm worried about how well it would perform on a 4K monitor. I want to know if the parts I've selected—including the monitor and chassis—are good choices. I'm not necessarily looking for budget options, but rather reliable components that meet my expectations for top-tier performance and graphical quality in most games for the next few years. Appreciate any input!

The PSU you're looking at is a bit pricey and older—without a standard 12vhpwr port, which can be a drawback. I’d recommend checking out a newer ATX 3.1 option like the NZXT C1200, which is more cost-effective. If raw performance is what you’re after, definitely look into the 5090, but keep in mind the price versus performance trade-off. Overclocking can help with power efficiency too. Also, I’d suggest going for 64GB of RAM since you're aiming for max performance. As for cooling, consider the Thermalright Phantom Spirit. It’s a great option!
Thanks for all the tips! I’ll definitely rethink the PSU and RAM size.
