Is My New PC Build Good for AAA Gaming with Ray Tracing?

I'm excited to build my new PC and I have some specific components in mind: CPU is a Ryzen 57500X, GPU is an RX 9060 XT with 16GB, RAM is G.Skill Trident with 32GB, and I'm using an MSI B650M Wi-Fi motherboard. I'm really looking forward to playing AAA games with ray tracing, but I'm unsure if the RX 9060 XT will handle it well. I have a few questions: 1) Should I switch to a 5060 Ti build instead, and will it cost about the same, aside from the GPU? 2) Can anyone recommend a good 2TB SSD? 3) Also, I'm in the market for a 1440p monitor!

If ray tracing at 1440p is your goal, you'll likely want to consider jumping up to a 9070 or 5070 at the very least. For example, in Cyberpunk, you'll need to switch to balanced DLSS settings just to get above 60fps with decent ray tracing. Check out some benchmarks to see how they perform!

Yeah, that’s a bit out of my price range, though. Guess I have to rethink my options.

I’d recommend going with the 5060 Ti. There are lots of gameplay and comparison videos out there that can show you how it performs compared to the RX 9060 XT. It’s generally considered better for ray tracing.

I could stretch the budget for the 5060 Ti, but what about the other components—are they still good?
