I recently made some significant updates to my PC build and would love your feedback on it. This setup will be used for graphic design, video editing, streaming, and gaming (both VR and traditional). I'm running three monitors and usually have multiple applications open at once, like games, a web browser, and Discord. I already have my monitors, extra hard drives, and peripherals from my current PC that I'll be transferring over to this new build. I'm opting not to go with Nvidia at the moment due to concerns about the melting 12vhpwr issue, which is why I decided on the Radeon RX 9070 XT instead. I'm hoping this build can last me around 8 to 10 years, with the option to upgrade the GPU later. I know I need to update the motherboard BIOS for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D to work properly, and I chose a large power supply to ensure I have enough PCIe 6-pin connectors for my fans. Here's a link to the build for reference: [Build Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rgKZ8Z).

I think you might be overdoing it with the 1200W power supply. 1000W would technically cover your needs. Just remember that the 9070 requires three 8-pin connectors, daisy chaining isn't a good idea.
Honestly, you don’t need a 1200W PSU. An 850W will be plenty for your build! Maybe save some cash and grab this RAM stick instead: [this option](https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QF9wrH/crucial-pro-overclocking-32-gb-2-x-16-gb-ddr5-6000-cl36-memory-cp2k16g60c36u5b). Enjoy your new PC!
I'm curious why you're avoiding Nvidia for streaming and editing. Any specific reason?
I’m just worried about the issues with the 12vhpwr plug leading to some melting problems. Given that the 5080 costs around 1.5k now, it feels too risky for me.

Thanks for the tip! I'll double-check to make sure my power supply fits those requirements.
