Hey everyone! I'm putting together a build with a 5070 Ti 16GB GPU paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU. Several sources suggested this is a good match, but I've seen some chatter about potential problems with AM5 motherboards and DDR5 RAM. I'm not super tech-savvy, so I have a couple of questions for you tech whizzes out there.

1. Will there be any compatibility issues with the RAM and motherboard?
2. Is the air cooler I have in mind sufficient for the 9000X3D?

Any advice would be super helpful! Here's my part list for reference: [help me pls](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Wtr43w).

One thing to keep in mind is that you shouldn't go for four sticks of RAM; it can cause compatibility issues. Also, make sure your RAM has the right speed and latencies, which it looks like yours does. However, the memory you've picked is pretty overpriced.

I can suggest some adjustments to save money and improve your build. For example, consider avoiding that small form factor GPU unless you have a compact case, as they often tend to run hotter and louder.

Check out this revised build for better cost efficiency: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ddzJDj). I swapped out a few components for alternatives that perform better at lower prices.

Your build should work just fine. The cooler you’re considering is likely adequate for the 9000X3D. If you're looking for alternatives that perform similarly, I’d suggest checking out the Thermalright Phantom Spirit or Peerless Assassin—they might be priced better, too.

By the way, can you share where you're planning to purchase from? That might help with some additional tips!
