Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC and could really use some opinions. I'm wondering if my planned build will be future-proof for the next few years, especially with big titles like GTA 6 on the horizon and my interest in diving deeper into VR gaming. Here's what I'm looking at:
- **GPU:** NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (I'm thinking about upgrading this later)
- **RAM:** 32GB DDR4
- **Motherboard:** ASUS Prime B450-based
- **Power Supply:** SilentiumPC Vero L3 700W
- **Case:** SilentiumPC Signum SG1X TG RGB (max GPU length: 325mm, 3.5-slot max)

Do you think this build will handle these tasks well? Is it a good mix of performance and value? I'd appreciate any advice on possible bottlenecks, cooling needs, or anything else that might be off. Thanks a bunch!

If you’re near a Microcenter in the US, I’d suggest going for a completely fresh build based on your current setup. But since you're in Europe, it might be tricky. Right now, your specs look good, with the exception of the GPU—you're on a GTX 1660 Super, which isn't going to cut it for the latest games. Plan to swap it out soon!

I get what you mean! I’m definitely planning to add the RTX 5070 Ti soon to boost my gaming experience.

These days, the term 'future-proof' mainly applies to high-end GPUs, like the 90 series. They have more VRAM, which is becoming increasingly important, and newer generations tend to provide better frame rates as game developers lean more into that for optimization. So keep an eye on the GPU market!

I’d suggest going with AM5 instead. It's not much more expensive and will save you some money down the line when you decide to upgrade. Just keep in mind, going this route will change your motherboard, CPU, and RAM from what you listed. Also, while 700W for the power supply is probably adequate, you might want to consider a higher wattage for peace of mind.
