Is My PC Build Good Enough for Blender?

Hey folks,

I'm thinking about using this PC setup for Blender, and I'd love to get your thoughts on it. Here's what I've got:

* **CPU**: Intel Core i7-11700
* **GPU**: Intel UHD Graphics 750 (integrated)
* **Storage**: SPCC M.2 PCIe SSD
* **Wireless**: Realtek 8723DU

I'm mainly looking to do some basic 3D modeling and rendering. My main concern is that there's no dedicated GPU, and I'm not sure how this affects performance in Blender. Has anyone used something similar? Will it work for entry-level projects, or should I think about upgrading to a setup with a dedicated graphics card?

Thanks for any advice or experiences you can share!

Do you already have this PC, or are you just considering it? If you own it, that’s a good start. Also, how much RAM are you using? That’s key for Blender, as it impacts responsiveness along with CPU performance.

Without a dedicated GPU, you might face some lag when rotating models or working on them. It’ll definitely work, but rendering could take a while! Just curious—what’s your budget for upgrades or a new system?

Yeah, my budget’s tight, but this is what I have, so I’m hoping to make it work. Also, I have 32 GB of RAM. Is that enough to at least get me started? This is a pre-built system, and I’m wondering if I can even upgrade it since it’s a bit cramped.
