Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first DIY PC build, mainly for day trading with 2-3 monitors, plus photo editing, some video editing, and the occasional 3D printing rendering. I also hope to play some VR games at medium to high graphics settings, especially No Man's Sky—when I get the chance to game! Recently, I upgraded my internet from 10mb to a whopping 1gig, but my current setup can only manage about 500mb. I'm coming from an ASUS TUF laptop from 2018, which is really reaching its limits.
I'm looking to build a mid-range VR-capable gaming PC that can handle Adobe software as well. I'm trying to stick to a budget of $700-$850 without cutting too many corners. I'd prefer not to do a full rebuild in a couple of years, aside from maybe swapping out a component or two. Here's what I've got so far:
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core, 12-Thread Processor
**Motherboard:** MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4
**Memory (RAM):** Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
**Storage:** Crucial P3 Plus 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD
**GPU:** ASRock Radeon RX 6600 Challenger D 8GB
**Case:** Thermaltake Versa H18 Micro ATX w/ Tempered Glass & 1 rear exhaust fan
**Additional Case Fan:** Arctic P12 PWM 120mm
**Power Supply:** Corsair CX650 650W 80+ Bronze (Semi-Modular)
**Monitor:** Acer SB240Y 23.8" Full HD IPS Monitor, 75Hz, 1ms VRB
Other than an anti-static bracelet, mouse, keyboard, and small screwdrivers (which I have plenty of from camera repairs), is there anything else I'll need?

Make sure you're using a wired connection instead of WiFi; it'll give you better stability and speed. Also, you might want to consider upgrading your GPU for better performance.
I am wired directly, but I've only been able to get around 450mb, even after trying different cables. It's odd since my friend's laptop hits the full gig just fine!
