Hey everyone! I'm based in Australia and I'm planning to upgrade my gaming setup to the AM5 platform. I'm not really sure if the parts I've chosen will be optimal for 1440p gaming, so I would appreciate any advice on my build. Here's what I've got so far:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Motherboard: X870E NOVA
- GPU: XFX 9070 OC Triple fan
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 4x16GB, 6000MHz
If you think I should change anything in this setup, please let me know! Thanks a lot!

You might want to consider saving some cash on the motherboard and CPU so you can spend a bit more on the GPU. It's a great way to boost performance for your 1440p gaming needs!
Hey! I’d recommend going for a 2x32GB RAM kit instead of a 4x16GB one if you're aiming for 64GB total. Having just two sticks is typically more stable than four, which can sometimes cause issues over time.
Is that true? I always thought having four sticks would distribute the load better. Good to know, thanks!
The XFX 9070 OC is around $1099 AUD here, but the 9070 XT costs about $300 more. What motherboard and CPU would you suggest to swap?
