Is My PC Build Good for Gaming and Content Creation?

I'm new to building PCs and am currently watching YouTube videos to learn about assembling them, cable management, and all that stuff. I want to know if my part list is suitable for gaming and content creation. I might consider getting a prebuilt system instead, but I'm hoping to build my own. Here's the link to my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pvVHyW.

Make sure your motherboard matches the rest of your build vibe. If you’re going for a black build, a white motherboard might stand out a bit too much. Also, think about getting an OLED monitor for a great visual upgrade—you won't regret it! And budget for a decent keyboard and mouse since they're just as important as the rest of your setup!

I think you need to reconsider your RAM configuration. DDR5 has a reputation for not performing as well with four sticks; you'd be better off running two sticks at a higher speed. Ultimately, you should decide if you want to prioritize gaming performance or productivity power. Plus, those high speeds you're eyeing like 6000MHz CL30 for gaming are worth it!

Your build looks pretty solid overall, but I've got a few suggestions. If you're aiming for 4K gaming, switching to a more suitable monitor is a must; using a 1080p monitor would really limit your setup. Also, I noticed you're going for 128GB of RAM, which feels excessive—32GB should be more than enough for gaming and streaming. Additionally, consider getting a better SSD than the Crucial P3 Plus because it's not the fastest option. Overall, just make sure your parts are balanced for what you're trying to achieve!

Thanks for the tips! I'm definitely open to downgrading the RAM and looking for a better SSD.

I agree, balancing out those specs will really give you a much better experience.
