Hey everyone! I've been working on putting together parts for a new PC to replace my old one, which is finally on its last legs. My main goal with this machine is to game at 1440p/QHD with stable FPS; I don't need everything on Ultra settings, but it would be great if it could handle it! Besides gaming, I do quite a bit of work in Photoshop and Lightroom, so I need something that can manage those tasks efficiently too. Here's what I've picked out:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 (8 Core, 16 Thread, 5.3GHz) with Wraith Prism cooler
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX ATX AM5
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **Storage**: Kingston KC3000 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD
- **GPU**: XFX Swift AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT White Triple Fan
- **PSU**: Cooler Master MWE 850W 80+ Gold ATX 3.1
- **Case**: MSI MAG Forge 120A AirFlow Mid Tower ATX
- **OS**: Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit
I've done my homework, and everything seems to fit and be compatible, but I would love to hear if anyone sees any red flags or has suggestions to improve this build without going over budget!

Looks nice but I wonder about your budget. I found some alternatives that are slightly cheaper and just as good. For instance, using a different brand for the RAM or going with a slightly lower-tier GPU could save some cash. You could always upgrade later if needed!
Solid build, mate! You've got a good balance of power and efficiency with that PSU and SSD. You might want to keep an eye on the cooling options though, especially during long gaming sessions. If you can consider a case with better airflow, it might help a lot!
Everything checks out, but I'd recommend updating the BIOS once you get everything set up! It really helps with stability, especially for new parts. Also, consider some benchmarks online for the components you selected to see how they perform in games you love. Good luck with the build!
Your build looks great! The Ryzen 7 will handle gaming and photo editing very well, especially at 1440p. The RX 9070 XT is a solid choice too for great performance in most games. You've got a balanced setup overall, and everything seems compatible. Nice work!
Thanks a lot! I'm really excited to get it all together.

Great tip! I’ll definitely remember to do that once it's all built.
