Hey, everyone! I recently put together a mock-up of a PC that I'm interested in building here: [PC Build Link](https://buildcores.com/builds/TC8HPa?share=true). I'm planning to use it for daily tasks, gaming (particularly FPS games), and doing video/photo editing. Streaming could be in the cards for me in the future, so I'd like a setup that supports that as well. I'm looking for some feedback on whether this build might be too much for my needs or if it's just right for what I'm aiming to accomplish.

Yeah, that seems like a bit too much for what you're looking to do. You can build something that fits your needs for half the cost. Also, for video editing and streaming, you're going to want plenty of storage—a big HDD would be a good addition for saving your streams!
I'm honestly seeing this as overkill. If you're mainly doing editing and occasional gaming, you could save a ton! A mid-range GPU could handle your needs just fine. But hey, if budget isn't an issue and you want the best, go for it!
I can't see a GPU listed in your build yet. Integrating graphics can work for basic tasks, but if you're gaming, you'll definitely need a dedicated GPU. Just a heads up! It looks like you're aiming for an all-white theme which can drive costs up, so if it's purely for looks, consider that in your budget. Overkill isn’t so bad if you can afford it, but it’s worth ensuring every component is practical for what you need.
A build with a 5090 feels way over budget for your usage. Something like a 4070 Ti Super would be sufficient and you would save a large chunk of change, plus reduce power consumption. If you have the cash to spare, then go for it! Just be mindful of making choices that don’t inflate your costs unnecessarily. For storage, you're definitely going to want some good SSDs and HDDs, especially for video editing!
Your build looks pretty top-of-the-line! While it’s definitely powerful, you might be spending a lot on aesthetics—like that fancy cooler and those RGB fans. You could achieve similar performance for about $1,000 less. This alternative build I suggest hits those specs while being more budget-friendly: [PCPartPicker Alternative Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3RJgxg). Just a thought!

I can see a 7900 on the link he shared, so maybe he just didn't list it! Definitely don't skimp on the GPU if he's looking to game!
