Is My PC Build Under $2750 AUD Good for CAD and Gaming?

I'm planning to build a PC with a budget of under $2750 AUD. I'm thinking about using an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RX 9070 graphics card. This PC will be mainly for CAD design and playing some FPS games like Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege. I'm not looking for RGB features, and I won't need a monitor right now but I'll buy one later. I'd prefer to shop at a few retailers, but if there's a significant price difference (like $75-$100), I'm okay with using different stores. I live in Western Australia, so PLE and PCCG are the best options for me. I'd appreciate any advice on my current part list! Your build looks solid, but I recommend tweaking it a bit. For storage, consider upgrading to a 2TB NVMe SSD instead of the 1TB. I found that 1TB fills up really quickly these days! Here's an alternate list I made: [PCPartPicker Alternate List](https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/GhMZDj). Overall, just keep in mind how quickly storage can fill up with games and design files!

Right now, I'm using a 1TB drive for boot and plan to add a larger 2TB later on. I only use about 300GB on my laptop, so I think I'll be fine for now.

Is that specific RX 9070 better than others? I’m less familiar with the brands and just picked this one for its nice look.

If you want to make some changes, consider swapping the B850M motherboard for a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi to save a bit. Also, think about the ASRock Steel Legend RX 9070 XT for your GPU, and definitely go for a 2TB Gen4 NVMe SSD. Just remember that these changes might increase your budget a little!

But wouldn't that bump the total up to around 3k? That feels a bit too much for me.
