Hey everyone, I'd love to get some feedback on this parts list I've put together for my build. Here's what I'm planning to use:
* AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D - Processor
* GIGABYTE X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 - Motherboard
* Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L Core ARGB - CPU Cooler
* CORSAIR RMx Shift 1200W - Power Supply
* ARCTIC P12 Slim PWM PST - Case Fans
* Antec C8 Black - Case
* INNO3D GeForce RTX 5080 X3 GAMING OC - Graphics Card
* Samsung 9100 PRO 2TB - Storage
I'm a bit worried about whether the CPU cooler will fit after I install the motherboard. Also, I might be missing some obvious considerations that experienced builders would spot. Right now, I'm eyeing this RAM:
* Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 - 64 GB: 2 x 32 GB - 288-PIN - 6600 MHz
Is this a good choice? And is there a better RAM speed I should be looking at? Thanks!

Looks like a solid list, but consider if you really need that X870 motherboard. You could save some cash with a B650 or B850 without sacrificing performance. As for the cooling, I’m not a fan of AIOs; I prefer air cooling. Make sure to check your case specs for max radiator and GPU lengths. For RAM, 6000 MHz is plenty—there's really no need to go higher! Also, the slim fans are an interesting choice; I’m curious why you went that route.
I totally get your worry about the cooler fitting. It’s always good to double-check the case specs. But I think you’ll be fine as long as you look it up! You definitely don’t need a RAM speed above 6000 MHz for your setup—it’s a solid choice to go with the Corsair Vengeance RGB.
Hey! Your parts look pretty killer. Just make sure the cooler fits first; check the max dimensions on the case’s site. As for the RAM, I'd suggest sticking with 6000 MHz, as it’s optimal for Ryzen. Higher speeds won’t give you much more unless you really feel like splurging!
