Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a PC in the next few months and I'd love your feedback on my parts list, especially regarding the CPU and GPU choices. I haven't been keeping up with the latest hardware trends, so I want to make sure I'm on the right track.
I'm primarily looking to play strategy games like EU5, Victoria 3, Crusader Kings 3, and Cities Skylines, and I hope to handle late-game performance well since those Paradox titles can lag. I'm also interested in playing games like Vintage Story and Space Engineers with decent graphics when possible.
For storage, I listed two SSDs since I want to dual boot Linux, and I've heard AMD components work better with it compared to Nvidia.
Here's my current list: [PCPartPicker Link] (you'll need to replace this with the actual link). I'm hoping for critiques, advice, and cost-cutting tips wherever possible.

Honestly, I don’t think this build is great. If you're going for AM5, you really should pair it with a higher-end GPU like the 7800XT or the 4070. Otherwise, you risk bottlenecking.
The 7600X is okay, but for a little more, you could get much better performance with something like the Intel i5-14600KF. Plus, your motherboard seems to be in the awkward price range without offering good value.
For RAM, you might want to steer clear of that 4800CL40 kit; it could hurt your overall performance. And consider replacing your dual 1TB SATA SSDs with a single, faster 2TB NVMe SSD—it’ll save you a lot of time and hassle.
As for the case and PSU, the airflow could be an issue, so factor that in too!

Totally agree! Plus, prices are pretty close for faster NVMe drives right now, so it makes sense to go for speed instead of sticking with SATA. Better performance for gaming is always key!
