Is my PC still good for gaming, or should I upgrade some parts?

I recently moved out and left my PC behind at my parents' place, but now I'm thinking about bringing it over. I'm wondering if it's still capable of handling some light gaming, like Factorio, RimWorld, and similar colony simulation games. Here are my current specs: **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x, **MOBO**: MSI B450 Pro carbon AC, **GPU**: Red Dragon Rx5700, **PSU**: Corsair TX650M Gold 80+, and **RAM**: 2 x Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB. Should I consider upgrading any of these parts?

Your GPU is solid for the games you mentioned. I’d focus on upgrading your CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600X for better performance in those titles, but overall, it's a decent system!

Honestly, your rig is fine for light gaming at 1080p. It should handle those games without issue, but if you want to future-proof a bit, you might consider upgrading your CPU down the line.

Exactly! It really comes down to what you're comfortable with in terms of FPS. If you’re happy with the performance as it is, there’s no rush to upgrade!

Yep! Just give it a test run and see if it meets your needs. If you're not satisfied, then maybe look into that CPU upgrade!

I think a CPU upgrade would really help! The games you've mentioned tend to rely heavily on single-thread performance, so something like the Ryzen 5600X or even the 5700X3D would be good picks.
