I'm having some major issues with my internet since upgrading my PC. Before, I was using a Beelink mini PC, and my internet was running smoothly, averaging around 50-80 ping in games with only occasional spikes. Now that I've upgraded to a setup with a Ryzen 5 9600X, an RTX 5070, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, my ping has skyrocketed to 120-200 in most games.
I also have AT&T's 350 Mbps fiber internet, but my speed tests are showing painfully low uploads and downloads averaging only 1-10 Mbps. I've set up a powerline Ethernet adapter and wired it directly to my router, but I'm still facing high ping. My brother, using my old PC on the same internet, connects just fine. Should I be worried about a bottleneck in my new PC or is my internet connection the real problem?

Your specs are more than enough for gaming, so I doubt it's your PC's performance. Powerline adapters are notorious for being inconsistent because they rely on your home's wiring. If you can, try temporarily connecting your PC directly to the router with an Ethernet cable. If that gives you better speeds, the powerline setup is definitely problematic.
It sounds like your powerline adapter might be the culprit. Have you tried moving your PC closer to the modem to see if the ping improves when connected directly? Powerline connections can be super hit or miss, mainly depending on your electrical setup at home.

I tried a WiFi adapter previously and it didn’t really help with speeds either. It’s frustrating! I have the Nineplus Wireless USB WiFi Adapter, but it hasn’t improved my connection.
