Hey everyone! I'm a Fortnite player and currently have a GeForce 4060 GPU paired with an Intel i5-12400F CPU and 32GB of RAM. My power supply is pretty bad, and I've been getting blue screens during gameplay, so I decided it's time for an upgrade. I'm planning to switch to a Ryzen 5 9600X with a new motherboard, keep the 4060, and upgrade to 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz, along with a better power supply. Do you think this setup will significantly improve my gaming experience? Also, I'm curious about how to maximize the storage on my new PC. I currently have a 1TB drive, and I want to make sure I can access all of that space after the upgrade. Any tips?

Your planned upgrade sounds solid! The Ryzen 5 9600X will give you a nice performance boost for gaming, especially alongside the DDR5 RAM. Staying with the 4060 is a good call, but remember to pair it with a decent power supply to avoid any further issues. It should definitely help with those blue screens! As for storage, if you're keeping your current drive and want to get back to the full 1TB, just install Windows cleanly on your new setup. There are loads of tutorials online that break it down step by step. It’s pretty straightforward! Good luck with your build!
Yeah, always good to do a clean install! Just back up your important files first if you have any.
